Our Dry Eye Treatments
Plasma Rich Growth Factors (PRGF)
Plasma Rich in Growth Factors (PRGF) is a specialized type of Autologous Serum Tear (AST) that is not diluted. It is an advanced, regenerative treatment made from a small sample of your own blood. After a precise processing step, the plasma, which is naturally rich in proteins and growth factors, is prepared as eye drops that help repair and protect the ocular surface. PRGF eye drops can reduce inflammation, support tissue healing, and provide relief for patients with severe dry eye or ocular surface disease who have not responded to standard therapies.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses gentle light pulses applied to the skin around the eyes to improve symptoms of dry eye caused by meibomian gland dysfunction. IPL helps reduce inflammation, close abnormal blood vessels, and stimulate healthier oil gland function, leading to more stable tears and greater comfort. It is a safe, well-tolerated procedure that can provide lasting relief when standard dry eye treatments are not enough.
Radiofrequency (RF)
Radiofrequency (RF) therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses controlled heat to improve meibomian gland function and relieve dry eye symptoms. The warming effect helps to unclog blocked oil glands, enhance natural tear quality, and reduce inflammation around the eyelids. RF therapy is comfortable, safe, and can also provide added skin-tightening benefits in the treatment area.
Scleral Lenses
Scleral lenses are custom contact lenses designed to vault over the cornea and rest gently on the white part of the eye. They create a protective reservoir of fluid between the lens and the eye’s surface, keeping the cornea continuously hydrated throughout the day. This makes scleral lenses an excellent option for patients with severe dry eyes, who do not find relief with standard treatments.
